The label includes:

  • An alert word such as WARNING or DANGER in upper case.
  • A recognised safety alert symbol.
  • A pictogram showing a child climbing, with a cross or strikethrough.
  • A warning that children have died from furniture tip-overs.

Category-Specific Safety Instructions

Category 1 – Bookcases and Clothing Storage Units

The label includes instructions to:
Always secure furniture to the wall with an anchor.
Never let children climb, hang, or open more than one drawer at a time.
